Technical Team Manager

ComSys has an immediate Full Time opening for a Technical Team Manager.

The Technical Team Manager is supervisory role which will be responsible for the overall delivery of services to our customers, including day to day management of the Help Desk, service dispatch, and proactive maintenance.

Your responsibilities will include the supervision, management, and mentorship of our technical and service dispatch personnel - consisting of both internal employees and external or contracted resources.

Your focus will be to make every work hour a profitable work hour for the company, while striving to always exceed the expectations of our customers.

Specifically, we are looking for experience and skills in these areas:

  • A high degree of troubleshooting skill on networks, servers, workstations, and peripherals, with the ability to produce solutions.
  • Ability to remotely solve a wide range of technology problems brought to you by our varied customer base.
  • Have at least 5 or more years of experience working on networks, especially those utilizing Microsoft Server platforms.
  • Experience in configuring, servicing, and modifying Microsoft Servers and various E-mail platforms, such as Microsoft Exchange, Google Apps, etc.
  • Knowledge and experience with setting up and maintaining Windows Domains, GPO's and Active Directory management.
  • Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
  • Good general understanding of VoIP technologies (or ability and willingness to quickly learn).
  • Impeccable oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong commitment to documentation building.
  • MCSE or MCDST Certified preferred.
  • Previous experience within an IT Services Provider organization or Managed Services Practice is highly preferred.
  • Above all else, a qualified candidate will be one who is absolutely dedicated to being the model example of customer service excellence within our company.

Customer Service Representative / Project Coordinator

We're looking for a customer service representative to provide exceptional levels of service and quality support to our customers constantly exceeding their expectations.

You will also act as a liaison between the sales and operations staff during the project management phase of new system installations.

The position requires:

  • The ability to research, resolve and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Acquiring an in-depth product knowledge and related configuration expertise.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, especially in providing on site and telephone support for our customers.
  • Teamwork.

Unified Communications Telephone Technician

We're looking for experienced telephone technicians wanting to make the move to Converged IP Telephony and Unified Communications.

The unified communications technician is the principal technical operations representative to our customers in installing and maintaining voice and data products. Responsible for the installation, modification, testing and servicing of voice and/or data communications CPE equipment. Systems include: Key Systems, PBX, Voice Mail, Call Center, VoIP Systems and all other peripheral and ancillary equipment.

Unified Communications Account Executive

We're looking for sales professionals wanting to make the move to Converged IP Telephony and Unified Communications. You will have the unique opportunity to sell the latest in business communications technology including phone systems, voicemail, LAN/WAN solutions, and VoIP.

Information Technology – Help Desk

ComSys has an immediate Full Time opening for an IT Professional who is looking for a strong, growing IT Company that will reward the execution of challenging work. There is plenty of room for growth and advancement.

Responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, or software.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Respond to queries either in person, over the phone or by eMail.
  • Write documentation articles.
  • Train computer users.
  • Maintain daily performance of computer systems.
  • Respond to email messages for customers seeking help.
  • Ask questions to determine nature of problem.
  • Walk customer through problem-solving process.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Run diagnostic programs to resolve problems.
  • Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), and other systems.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue has been resolved.
  • Gain feedback from customers about computer usage.
  • Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur.
  • Create, update and close service tickets.

All applicants must have reliable transportation. The positions may require extended work weeks (more than 40 hours). The successful candidates will be expected to have excellent computer skills, and ensure compliance to all Company and program policies and procedures.

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and includes health insurance, dental insurance and a SIMPLE IRA plan after qualifying periods.
