IT L3 Technical Lead / Client Manager

What does an IT Client Manager do?

  • Provide consulting for client base to ensure their technical and service needs are met
  • Be able to provide L3 technical support when necessary – the buck stops with you
  • Work with and utilize L1/L2 help desk staff to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ultimately responsible for integrity of all client documentation
  • Liaison with 3rd party vendors in order to support the customer
  • Lead Quarterly Business Review meetings with your client base
  • Uncover new opportunities within customer base, such as projects, hardware/software, etc.
  • Above all, work with team members to ensure a positive customer experience

Are you a fit for this role? We are seeking someone with the following experience:

  • 8+ years in a technical support role
  • Extensive experience with setup and administration of Windows Servers, Active Directory, firewalls/routers, and core network protocols
  • Intimate understanding of small/medium network designs
  • Extensive experience with backup solutions and concepts
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining organization when things are hectic
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly desired: MCSE or MCITP Certification
  • Highly desired: Ability to communicate in a sales role
  • Highly desired: Experience in an IT Services company (aka Managed Service Provider)
