What does an IT Technician 2 do?

  • Troubleshoot computer and basic network problems
  • Provide L1 help desk support
  • Setup new workstations/laptops/mobile devices
  • Provide basic Active Directory user administration
  • Provide excellent written documentation and properly communicate escalations
  • Liaison with 3rd party vendors in order to support the customer
  • Adapt quickly to changing responsibilities and take ownership of other projects as assigned
  • Above all, work with team members to ensure a positive internal and external customer experience

Are you a fit for this role? We are seeking someone with a proven track record in the following:

  • Experience in a technical support role
  • History in working with Windows 7 and up
  • Understanding of basic network concepts and computer hardware
  • Experience with backup solutions and concepts
  • Attention to detail and dedication to maintaining organization even when things are hectic
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Highly desired: Experience in an IT Services company (aka Managed Service Provider)
